 +== Projeto de Pesquisa ==
 +Seus principais interesses em pesquisa consistem nos estudos de processos celulares de reparo de DNA e suas consequencias biológicas (tais como mutagênese e morte celular). Em conjunto com seu grupo tem desenvolvido sistemas relacionados a terapia gênica, sendo que também propõe o uso de RNAi como importante ferramenta para entender as respostas celulares a agressões no genoma, em células animais. Considerando a grande conservação dos genes de reparo de DNA nos diferentes seres vivos, também estuda como esses processos ocorrem em plantas e mesmo em bactérias (tendo ''Caulobacter crescentus'' como modelo). Esses estudos permitem uma abordagem evolutiva ao tema. [[Pesquisa]].

Projeto de Pesquisa

Seus principais interesses em pesquisa consistem nos estudos de processos celulares de reparo de DNA e suas consequencias biológicas (tais como mutagênese e morte celular). Em conjunto com seu grupo tem desenvolvido sistemas relacionados a terapia gênica, sendo que também propõe o uso de RNAi como importante ferramenta para entender as respostas celulares a agressões no genoma, em células animais. Considerando a grande conservação dos genes de reparo de DNA nos diferentes seres vivos, também estuda como esses processos ocorrem em plantas e mesmo em bactérias (tendo Caulobacter crescentus como modelo). Esses estudos permitem uma abordagem evolutiva ao tema. Pesquisa.
