De fato, o efeito citotóxico da maioria dos quimioterápicos é decorrente de danos na molécula de DNA da célula, de modo que alterações nas vias de reparo dessas lesões pode estar relacionada à aquisição de um fenótipo quimiorresistente por clones celulares malignos.

Undergraduated in Biology at University of São Paulo. Master degree in Biophysics and Physiology and PhD in Oncology. Nowadays, I am supported by a Postdoctoral Fellowship from FAPESP.
